STEEPLE TO PEOPLE

What is Steeple to People?

S.T.P. Ministries began in 1982 out of a growing concern for the Church to better serve the community. From the beginning S.T.P. was founded as a "faith ministry" meaning that we look to God in faith to provide for all the provisions (finances, materials, people...) to support the ministry. Our goal is to bring the Church to people by utilizing the skills, talents, and resources of Christians to meet needs in our community.

  • THRIFT STORE - Many faithful volunteers come to sort and price clothes. We provide a place for people to buy reasonable priced clothes and other needed household items. We are pleased to say that all the funds from the thrift store are used to support the other ministries of Steeple to People Ministries. If you would like to contribute clothes, please drop them off during our open hours. If you are interested in volunteering; stop in to talk to us about that.

Our Example

Jesus’ ministry to the physical needs of people went hand in hand with his preaching and teaching. Following His example, we seek to show compassion for physical problems while proclaiming the mercy and truth of God.

Statement of Faith
We will feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, take in those who need lodging, clothe the naked, visit the sick and imprisoned. (Matthew 25:35-45)

We believe in the Bible as the inspired Word of God.

We believe that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one can come to the Father except through him. (John 14:6)

We believe that all persons are sinners, and that it is only through faith and God’s grace that any can be saved.

We will cooperate with other missions, church organizations (whether Denominational or non-denominational), philanthropic organizations and agencies.

We seek always to cooperate and not to compete.

We dare to step out in faith, even when criticized.

We trust in God to provide funds, materials, and servants for His work.
